About the role
The Logistics Coordinator supports daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficient movement, storage, and delivery of inventory. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating shipments and customer pickups, and ensuring a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Pull and prepare parts orders for shipment and customer pickup.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts inventory.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Schedule customer pickups, deliveries, and intercompany transfers.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation as required.
- Assist with Sourcing Inventories.
- Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain team members to support daily operations.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, inventory, or supply chain experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to operate a forklift preferred but not required.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds regularly; heavier lifting may be required with assistance or appropriate equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and sit for extended periods as required.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and safely operate equipment when trained and authorized.
