Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor the daily movement of goods and medical shipments.
- Verify pallet counts and ensure proper temperature controls for sensitive medical specimens.
- Utilize automated systems to assign pick-ups and deliveries to internal couriers or external vendors, ensuring optimal route efficiency.
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal teams (lab personnel, dispatchers) and external clients to resolve delays and provide real-time updates.
- Cook with third-party transportation providers and vendors to ensure compliance with Quest Diagnostics quality and safety standards.
- Achieve all quality and service standards / expectations.
- Achieve all productivity standards.
- Maintain meticulous logs and perform audits to ensure all transportation activities meet safety regulations and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or medical transportation is a plus.
- Ability to move boxes and handle materials in a warehouse or clinic environment as needed.
- Knowledge proficiency in logistics software, data analysis, and budget management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and logistics software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A high school degree or equivalent is required.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred.

Pay
Pay range: $21.50+ per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.
