Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator I performs operational functions related to the dispatching and scheduling of drivers under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain route schedules and database information.
• Maintain service distribution reps calendar and schedule internal routes coverage.
• Ensure effective customer service by interfacing with field operations, other internal departments, and external vendors and suppliers to resolve transportation problems and answer or refer questions as appropriate.
• Respond to inquiries regarding tracking information.
• Help plan, develop, communicate, and monitor transportation routes, driver schedules, pickups and deliveries, assignments, vehicle maintenance, and coordinate departure and arrival times with other departments.
• Schedule inbound and outbound courier services while optimizing carrier selection.
• Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
• Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all Corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.
• Work with other departments within PathGroup and subsidiaries.
• Other duties as assigned.
