Duties
- Develops proficient subject matter expertise of business systems (Oracle Cloud ERP) within scope of the following modules: Project / Contract, Order Management, Inventory, and Reports & Analytics.
- Manages site distribution mailbox and processes site shipment orders via business system transactions, ensuring all associated paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supports monitoring of executed shipments to clinical sites, e.g. courier tracking, acknowledgement of receipt, cold chain product management (Out of Spec temperature excursions) etc.
- Liaise with qualified transport providers for the appropriate and timely delivery and dispatch of consignments in line with approved procedures.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with Myonex’s designated brokers.
- Completion of shipment paperwork needed for customs clearance.
- Manage and build a strong working relationship with couriers to ensure they follow Myonex’s business processes, procedures, and requirements.
- Maintain record keeping of shipping and receiving documentation.
- Ensure that temperature sensitive products are effectively and efficiently handled throughout the supply chain.
- Update inventory management system as appropriate with dispatches, including notes for shipment and delivery.
- Ability to develop plans and implement short- and long-range department goals.
- Liaison in primary point of contact to the client’s importer of record.
- Create and get approval for commercial invoices.
- Schedule specialty carriers for all shipment types.
- Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Process and manage clinical trial shipment orders, including accurate data entry within the ERP system to ensure timely and compliant distribution to global clinical sites.
- Cover order processing activities by reviewing shipment requirements, while entering and validating data in ERP.
Requirements
- 4-year degree in science, pharmaceutics, natural sciences or equivalent work experience is required or 2+ years of job-related experience.
- Previous experience within logistics as an administrator or coordinator preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical devices, pharmaceutical or related industries preferred.
- Understanding of cGMP guidelines as they apply to the pharmaceutical, medical device, and related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and understand Standard Operating Procedures and process flows.
Skills/Qualifications
- Intermediate level skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and internet functions.
- Ability to track shipments and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of shipping documentation, incoterms, import/ export compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write and understand Business Procedures and Process Flows.
- Experience working with warehouse data and ERP systems is preferred.
- Effective communication.
