Key Responsibilities
- Cook up and oversee logistics operations, encompassing shipping and receiving.
- Schedule and follow up on inbound and outbound shipments.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to guarantee smooth deliveries and settle any issues.
- Preserve precise logistics records, such as shipment documentation, tracking, and billing.
- Aid in optimizing transportation routes and logistics processes to boost effectiveness and decrease expenses.
- Earn compliance with local, national, and worldwide shipping regulations.
- Aid in managing warehouse activities, specifically order fulfillment.
- Aid in the creation of regular reports on logistics performance, KPIs, and cost analysis for QBRs.
- Collaborate with the procurement, planning, warehouse, and sales teams to synchronize logistics with business requirements.
- Handle and settle shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Entry-level or experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a comparable role.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), or ERP software.
- SAP, Ship ERP, & Project 44.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the capacity to handle priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The capability to function under stress and meet tight deadlines.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in a logistics or supply chain coordination role.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with domestic & international shipping.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures.
- Familiarity with lean or just-in-time (JIT) methodologies.
