Logistics Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Cook up and oversee logistics operations, encompassing shipping and receiving.
• Schedule and follow up on inbound and outbound shipments.
• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to guarantee smooth deliveries and settle any issues.
• Preserve precise logistics records, such as shipment documentation, tracking, and billing.
• Aid in optimizing transportation routes and logistics processes to boost effectiveness and decrease expenses.
• Earn compliance with local, national, and worldwide shipping regulations.
• Aid in managing warehouse activities, specifically order fulfillment.
• Aid in the creation of regular reports on logistics performance, KPIs, and cost analysis for QBRs.
• Collaborate with the procurement, planning, warehouse, and sales teams to synchronize logistics with business requirements.
• Handle and settle shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Entry-level or experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a comparable role.
• Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), or ERP software.
• SAP, Ship ERP, & Project 44.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the capacity to handle priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The capability to function under stress and meet tight deadlines.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in a logistics or supply chain coordination role.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with domestic & international shipping.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures.
• Familiarity with lean or just-in-time (JIT) methodologies.
