Logistics Coordinator
About the role
The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless movement of materials, components, and finished systems across Heven AeroTech’s supply chain. This role supports procurement flow, inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving operations, and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities
- Cooking inbound and outbound shipments — domestic and international — ensuring compliance with aerospace, defense, and export regulations (ITAR, EAR, FAA).
- Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and export paperwork.
- Maintaining carrier relationships and working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and couriers to resolve shipment issues.
- Monitoring delivery schedules and prioritizing critical shipments to support production timelines.
- Processing inbound receipts accurately and ensuring proper inspection and routing.
- Maintaining ≥99% inventory accuracy across all storage and staging locations.
- Tracking material availability and supplier performance to support procurement and production teams.
- Supporting receiving, inspection coordination, and material handling in compliance with quality standards.
- Conducting cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Aiding in warehouse layout optimization and material flow improvements.
- Maintaining organized storage areas with FIFO and shelf-life controls.
- Entering and maintaining logistics data in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Ensuring all records are audit-ready and compliant with internal and external requirements.
- Monitoring logistics KPIs and reporting performance metrics.
- Supporting compliance with FAA, ITAR/EAR, and AS9100 standards.
- Maintaining traceability documentation for serialized and flight-critical components.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams.
- Communicating proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Escalating risks and constraints in a timely and solution-oriented manner.
- Supporting new product introductions (NPI) and material readiness.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization.
- Aiding in reporting, audits, and special logistics projects.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field — or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of logistics, shipping/receiving, or supply chain experience.
- Working knowledge of shipping methods and trade compliance (ITAR/EAR awareness a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams); ERP experience preferred.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
