Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator supports Georgia-Pacific Recycling's supply chain operations by optimizing load scheduling, improving visibility, and resolving logistics issues that impact service, cost, and reliability. Reporting to the Domestic Logistics Manager, the role collaborates with traders, carriers, vendors, inside sales, and support teams to ensure reliable service and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate shipments, prioritizing automation and process efficiency
• Manage equipment and service needs, providing timely ETA updates to business partners
• Proactively identify and resolve logistics issues that could impact service or cost
• Reduce manual interventions by improving GPR365Connect utilization and process automation
• Maintain accurate data and documentation to support operational excellence
• Collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Proficient in Transportation Management System TMS or similar logistics platforms
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or similar field

Pay

$65,000 - $90,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.

Schedule

Standard working hours are 8AM - 5PM Eastern.
