Logistics Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, and supplier documentation.
  • Inspect and validate received materials for quantity and accuracy.
  • Resolve receiving discrepancies with Purchasing and Supply Chain teams.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow throughout the facility.

  • Coordinate quality inspections with Engineering and Build teams on incoming materials.
  • Communicate shipment status, tracking information, delays, claims, and exceptions to stakeholders.
  • Process purchasing, receiving, and accounting documentation accurately.
  • Support supplier return (RMA) processes for credits and replacements.
  • Organize and maintain material storage areas throughout the facility.
  • Deliver and stage materials at point-of-use locations to support production.
  • Perform material check-in processes and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Safely load and unload machinery, equipment, and materials from trucks and trailers.
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, material management, supply chain, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating shipments and inventory in an industrial setting is desired.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • A strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.
  • The ability to work independently and within a team environment is required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are important.
  • Forklift experience is required or the willingness to obtain certification is necessary.
  • The ability to obtain Overhead Crane certification is desirable.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and perform physical material handling duties is required.
