Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting DLF's day-to-day logistics and operational activities. Key responsibilities include assisting in the retest and retag process, printing daily pick tickets, routing shipments, supporting inventory efforts, and providing customer support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the retest and retag process.
• Print daily pick tickets based on shipment schedules.
• Rout LTL, FTL, and company truck shipments using TMS (Shipper’s Edge).
• Support cycle counting and inventory accuracy efforts.
• Post completed pick tickets, purchase order receipts, transfer orders, and production orders.
• Aid walk-in customers and provide general support as needed.
• Maintain oversight of freight traffic and support logistics coordination activities.
• Perform warehouse duties as needed.
• Contribute to other logistics-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
• Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices, and percentages.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook).
• Ability to work overtime hours as necessary.
