About the role
The Logistics Coordinator supports DLF's day-to-day logistics and operational activities. Key responsibilities include assisting in the retest and retag process, printing daily pick tickets, routing shipments, supporting inventory efforts, and providing customer support.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the retest and retag process.
- Print daily pick tickets based on shipment schedules.
- Rout LTL, FTL, and company truck shipments using TMS (Shipper’s Edge).
- Support cycle counting and inventory accuracy efforts.
- Post completed pick tickets, purchase order receipts, transfer orders, and production orders.
- Absorb walk-in customers and provide general support as needed.
- Maintain oversight of freight traffic and support logistics coordination activities.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
- Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices, and percentages.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook).
- Ability to work overtime hours as necessary.
