Logistics Coordinator

Location: San Francisco, California

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in our San Francisco DHL Global Forwarding facility. You will coordinate the movement of customers’ goods, handle data entry, provide customer service, prepare and submit shipping documents, and advise clients on delivery terms, payment, insurance, and other freight services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between all applicable parties for domestic, export, and import shipments while ensuring service commitments are met in accordance with client and company objectives.
• Prepare, issue, and submit documents necessary to complete the shipping process and provide clients with advice on terms of delivery, payment, insurance, and other freight services.
• Ensure invoices for services rendered are completed accurately and within company policy timeframes.
• Perform tracking, tracing, and document imaging functions.
• Provide customer service and update customer profiles.
• Handle data entry utilizing multiple software systems.

Requirements

• US Citizen (mandatory).
• 1–5 years of experience in International Logistics.
• Experience in Air Freight and Ocean Freight Services.
• Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) T3 Clearance preferred; must be willing to undergo the application process if hired.
• Government contracts and ITAR experience required.
• Proven track record in customer service.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentations).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Knowledge of Cargo Wise system is a plus.

Pay

$28.64 – $38.19 per hour (commensurate with experience).
