About the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic Logistics Coordinator to join our fast-paced team in Tampa, FL. This role involves supporting customers by building orders, dispatching trucks, and making appointments. You’ll thrive in a high-energy environment, solve puzzles, and provide outstanding customer service. Training pay starts at $60k, with industry-leading uncapped commission-based pay at 3%.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for vendor relations, handling calls and emails professionally while optimizing the vendor network by finding new partners, negotiating rates, and scheduling appointments.
- Create and manage customer orders by transferring data from PDFs, Excel, and Outlook to our web-based software.
- Collaborate with brokers to identify and resolve issues, ensuring smooth operations between vendors and CURA.
- Monitor shipments hourly via web-based applications, providing real-time updates to customers and vendors.
- Accurately input and update load data in our internal platform.
- Assist with daily customer billing and accounting tasks, working cross-functionally with other teams.
- Deliver top-notch customer service to customers, vendors, and team members.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience with data entry and computer-based applications.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, purchasing, import/export, freight brokering, or supply chain is a plus.
- Familiarity with drayage, ports, or container shipping companies/steamship lines (SSL) is a bonus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Self-starter with problem-solving skills and exceptional customer service abilities.
