About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic Logistics Coordinator to join our fast-paced team in Tampa, FL. This role involves supporting customers by building orders, dispatching trucks, and making appointments. You’ll thrive in a high-energy environment, solve puzzles, and provide outstanding customer service. Training pay starts at $60k, with industry-leading uncapped commission-based pay at 3%.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for vendor relations, handling calls and emails professionally while optimizing the vendor network by finding new partners, negotiating rates, and scheduling appointments.
  • Create and manage customer orders by transferring data from PDFs, Excel, and Outlook to our web-based software.
  • Collaborate with brokers to identify and resolve issues, ensuring smooth operations between vendors and CURA.
  • Monitor shipments hourly via web-based applications, providing real-time updates to customers and vendors.
  • Accurately input and update load data in our internal platform.
  • Assist with daily customer billing and accounting tasks, working cross-functionally with other teams.
  • Deliver top-notch customer service to customers, vendors, and team members.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with data entry and computer-based applications.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, purchasing, import/export, freight brokering, or supply chain is a plus.
  • Familiarity with drayage, ports, or container shipping companies/steamship lines (SSL) is a bonus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Self-starter with problem-solving skills and exceptional customer service abilities.
