Logistics Coordinator

Duties/Responsibilities

• Receive calls from customers, and process and place fuel orders
• Initiate contact to carriers, terminals and follow up with customers
• Responsible for maintaining a particular territory of customers

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma required, College degree preferred, Dispatch experience preferred

Required Skills/Abilities

• Data entry with speed and accuracy
• Usage and familiarity with computerized software package
• Logistics experience and approach for problem solving
• Organization and adaptation with attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and inter-personal skills with customers, carriers and co-workers
• Timely, immediate action and follow-through
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Strong problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
