Logistics Coordinator
About the role
ISP Chemicals LLC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Calvert City, KY. This is a highly visible and significant role within the company and the manufacturing function, reporting to the Logistics Manager.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all export, LTL, and TL shipments.
- Tender loads utilizing Ashland's Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Maintain and coordinate the shipping schedule.
- Prepare Bills of Ladings.
- Print export, domestic, and customer-specific labels.
- Use SAP to confirm shipments.
- Assist with purchase orders, receiving, and related tasks.
- Work weekends as needed for month-end requirements.
Requirements
- A minimum of a High School diploma.
- 1-3 years of experience supporting shipping.
- 49CFR, IATA, and IMDG certifications, or the ability to obtain them.
- High proficiency in computer use: email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience, with knowledge of SAP and accounting practices highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
