Key Job Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and develop Logistics Specialists utilizing available training programs, informal (e.g. on-floor coaching) and formal (e.g. written evaluation) job performance based feedback.
  • Generate and communicate highly accurate, accessible inventory metrics reporting to Stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement consistent metrics to gauge employee performance.
  • Train hourly associates in required department processes.
  • Creatively resolve problems and make department impacting decisions in a highly ambiguous environment.
  • Run stock level reports and analyze results; optimize on-hand stock levels in effort to decrease cost-to-serve and increase efficiency of stock holdings.
  • Set and monitor inventory levels of stock rooms to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities.
  • Work closely with the logistics purchasing team to ensure cluster level stock is kept at appropriate levels.
  • Design, assess, and implement new strategies and initiatives to continuously exceed Customer expectations.
  • Continuous improvement through implementation of LEAN processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of work in a management position with 5 or more direct reports experience.
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel experience.
  • 3+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in problem solving and delivering results.
  • Experience managing and developing high performance teams.
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree, or experience with Lean or Six Sigma analytical techniques.

Pay and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $113,800.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
