About the role

The Inbound Logistics Manager oversees daily warehouse or distribution center receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of inbound shipments. This role manages a team responsible for unloading, inspecting, and storing goods while maintaining productivity, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations within an assigned function and is responsible for all aspects of Operations and Account Management.
  • Mainly responsible for the leadership of direct reports as well as the attainment of daily operational goals within his/her assigned functional area.
  • Customer service satisfaction and expectation management.
  • Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling.
  • Health and Safety Management.
  • State/Local/Federal regulations compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area.
  • Off shift support in the event of critical customer network disruption or crisis.

  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production.

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
  • Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.
  • One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required.

Pay

  • Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month.
  • Annual Salary Pay: $65,000 - $70,000 per year based on experience.
  • Bonus: Weekend/ Holiday spot bonus.

Schedule

  • Shift 1st: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00 pm (flexible).
