Essential Functions
- Enters and updates inbound and outbound shipments into vendor’s system
- Coincide with client to schedule return pickups from their locations
- Request clarification or advise supervisor of issues related to shipping data
- Confirm with vendor the status of hot shipments and relay information to client
- Quote shipments with all freight companies and confirm the most economical rate
- Organize all BOL and complete shipments
- Interact with departmental and other staff on matters affecting logistics data
- Make recommendations for improvement or enhancement to job processes to ensure standards in logistics data

- Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phone, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
- Other locations may include warehouse environments and are regularly exposed to heavy machinery and noise.
Physical Demands
- Walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move continually during work hours.
- Subject to lifting over 10 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position.
- Days and hours is work are Monday through Friday 12:00pm to 9:00pm to provide assistance for West Coast operations.
- Occasional evening and weekend work are required as job duties demand as well as a 24/7 rotational on-call schedule.
Travel
- No travel is required for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- A High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field
Preferred Education and Experience
- 2+ years of experience in a related field
- An Associates Degree
