Responsibilities
- Serving as the main coordinator for logistics between the import team and suppliers.
- Purchasing order entry for goods from both Australian team and other suppliers.
- Affirming on-time ship dates from vendors and tracking shipments until they arrive in the US.
- Ensuring clearances and transportation of goods to customers after USDA inspection.
- Filing necessary import paperwork such as ISF and TRQ before order arrival.
- Supporting sales staff with various tasks as assigned.
- Verifying order accuracy and timeliness by following up with suppliers, vendors, and customers.
- Tracking shipments to ensure timely arrivals and avoid fees.
- Filing all necessary import paperwork (ISF, TRQ) in advance of order arrival.
- Entering, updating, and closing orders into multiple software systems.
- Maintaining and building relationships with Australia, suppliers, and customers.
- Analyzing and improving processes to enhance workplace efficiency.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for inbound orders and documentation.
- Urgently resolving orders to reflect accurate inventory for the sales team.
- Addressing shipping or receiving issues, gathering necessary information from warehouses, carriers, and receivers.
- Cross-training with team members to assist with additional tasks as needed.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
