Logistics Procurement Assistant

Job Description

Your Piece of the Puzzle As NFM’s Logistics Procurement Assistant, you will support the Strategic Procurement Manager and assist in the implementation and execution of division strategies related to procurement and process improvement.

Job Duties

• Monitor: Continuously evaluate and optimize procurement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Manage: The Critical Supplies List to ensure supplies are in stock in each region
• Analyze: Cost and budgets to identify opportunities for cost savings and provide insights to Strategic Procurement Manager
• Aid: Oversee procurement and purchasing activities for logistics and distribution operations
• Collaborate: Bridge the gap between departments so they have a better understanding of each department’s functions and processes

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 2-3 years of office/clerical experience
• Computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately
• Valid driver’s license and ongoing acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business needs
