Logistics Analyst- RTI

About the Role

Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support our team in Ft. Belvoir, VA. This role provides logistics support to the Research & Technology Integration (RTI) Directorate, specifically the Business & Operations Facilities and Equipment Branch (FEB). The candidate will contribute to the management, accountability, and sustainment of RTI facilities and equipment resources, working within the Property Management section of FEB.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Government property accountability personnel in maintaining accurate property records in GCSS-A.
• Research, compile, validate, and reconcile data for property transactions, including receipts, issues, transfers, and disposition actions.
• Prepare draft transaction documentation and supporting packages for Government review and approval.
• Assist with tracking pending property actions, documentation deficiencies, and reconciliation requirements.
• Support eFLIPL-related record maintenance and documentation, as directed by the Government.
• Conduct research and compile information for Government-led property-loss actions.
• Identify data discrepancies and provide written findings and corrective actions.
• Develop inventory schedules, coordination plans, and status reports for Government approval.
• Support physical inventories, reconcile results, and document discrepancies.
• Prepare draft documentation for property accountability and audit-readiness requirements.
• Maintain electronic and hard-copy files in accordance with Government procedures.
• Support audit preparation and provide draft corrective-action recommendations.
• Research and analyze applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Provide draft interpretations and process improvements for Government consideration.
• Assist in updating documentation, training resources, and SOPs.
• Identify compliance gaps and provide mitigation measures.
• Participate in meetings, prepare agendas, and develop briefing materials.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain records, schedule inventories, and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Complete required training, certifications, and credentials.
• Perform physical activities associated with inventory and warehouse duties.
• Support property inventories and site visits at Government-designated locations.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license if required.
• Work in various weather conditions, adhering to safety requirements.

Skills

• Working knowledge of GCSS-A and eFLIPL systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Familiarity with Army property-book processes and inventory controls.
• Ability to organize documentation, reconcile records, and identify discrepancies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Professional judgment and independent work ethic.
