Responsibilities
- Provide lifecycle logistics support and analysis to support acquisition, fielding, sustainment, readiness, and modernization efforts for Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of lifecycle logistics policies, plans, procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Apply logistics management principles, policies, and best practices to support both legacy and emerging systems throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle.
- Assess logistics risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support risk management planning and execution activities.
- Execute and maintain product support requirements related to Government Furnished Property (GFP), transportation, property accountability, non-tactical vehicles, Item Unique Identification (IUID), and Communications Security (COMSEC) equipment.
- Develop and maintain product support policies, plans, procedures, and functional guidance while monitoring supply chain performance metrics and trends.
- Analyze logistics and sustainment data to identify opportunities for improving operational readiness, supportability, and lifecycle management effectiveness.
- Support procurement, packaging, handling, storage, transportation, receipt, issuance, and inventory management activities for equipment, repair parts, tools, consumable items, and hazardous materials in both CONUS and OCONUS environments.
- Aid in acquisition planning, contract management, funding activities, management information systems, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Support demilitarization, disposal, and decommissioning activities in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements.
- Research, analyze, and compile data to develop reports, information papers, presentations, metrics, and briefing materials for senior leadership and stakeholder reviews.
- Collaborate with government personnel, contractors, and cross-functional teams to support mission objectives and logistics requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Acquisition, Business, Engineering, or a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree and eight (8) years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting lifecycle logistics, sustainment, product support, acquisition, or supply chain activities within a DoD or federal government environment.
- Experience developing or supporting logistics policies, plans, procedures, and documentation.
- Knowledge of logistics management principles and their application to systems throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle.
- Experience supporting risk management activities, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and implementation.
- Experience supporting Government Furnished Property (GFP), transportation, property accountability, Item Unique Identification (IUID), non-tactical vehicles, and/or COMSEC equipment programs.
- Experience with procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Experience preparing reports, metrics, presentations, and briefing materials for management and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with government customers, contractors, and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
