About the Role
You are a key team member on the global transportation team with an interest in managing the flow of goods from DC to stores & outbound from stores. You’re also resourceful and collaborative with ability to drive process improvement, & ensuring that we exceed customer needs and business requirements. A sense of humor is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Supports and executes retail transportation including DC to store, outbound from store
- Ensures carriers are hitting delivery standards such as transit time, and pickup/delivery timeliness
- Exception management of issues such as pickups, delays and delivery issues
- Maintains visibility tools and processes for stores to see inbound deliveries/support implementation of Tory Vision application
- Liaison between transportation providers & store operations/stores/allocations
- Evaluates delivery network for cost & transit opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred but not required
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in logistics
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook & Copilot
- Familiarity with Excel macros
- Knowledge of Tableau and Power BI preferred
Qualifications
Knowledge of transportation and logistics systems, processes, and terminology. Experience with supply chain management, inventory control, and warehouse operations. Familiarity with transportation software and tools. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
