About the role
ORBIS is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support transportation operations and drive process improvements across our supply chain network.
Responsibilities
- Support daily logistics operations for domestic and international shipments.
- Partner with plant teams on material planning, inventory management, and material movement.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders and carriers to resolve operational issues and improve service levels.
- Analyze freight cost, carrier performance, and service levels to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and report key logistics metrics using TMS reporting tools.
- Assist with implementation and testing of new processes and system enhancements.
- Cross-functional collaboration across logistics, purchasing, finance, supply chain, and operations teams.
- Provide training to plants, suppliers, and internal users on logistics processes and systems.
- Support carrier payment processes and logistics reporting activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in transportation or logistics.
- Experience with SAP/ERP systems and supply chain software preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large data sets and identify trends.
- Understanding of transportation and logistics systems, including carrier networks and cost drivers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Up to 10% domestic and international travel; ability to obtain a passport required.
