Logistics Analyst
Responsibilities
- Cook up daily shipments and deliveries across various channels
- Build and maintain robust relationships with customers, vendors, carriers, and internal teams
- Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation providers to achieve cost-effective outcomes
- Maintain a watchful eye on logistics performance metrics using Excel and other tools
- Resolve customer issues swiftly and professionally, aiming for high satisfaction
- Keep accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and enhance service levels
Qualifications & Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
- A customer-first mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Solid negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time
