About the role

As a Logistics Analyst your goal is to execute logistics plans for the delivery and distribution of finished products and ensure product arrives complete, on time, and in a cost effective manner. You’ll maintain appropriate records, prepare reports, and coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline support for daily logistics operations, resolving issues and ensuring on time delivery of products
  • Participate in developing and implementing logistics plans affecting the delivery and distribution of finished products
  • Identify and analyze root causes of issues and work with logistics partners to develop solutions and performance improvement measures
  • Cultivate relationships with other departments to understand their customers’ needs and propose ideas to exceed expectations
  • Document and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as needed
  • Maintain department shipment data and records, run monthly reports, identify trends and opportunities for cost savings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field OR equivalent education and experience
  • At least two years experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Comprehensive experience with Microsoft Office suite of products, Google Applications, and other software associated with assigned work
  • Well-developed knowledge of ERP systems like SAP
  • Well-developed ability to meet deadlines and organize and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented
  • Solid knowledge of the principles of transportation logistics
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to communicate and interact with diverse groups of people
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
