Logistic Operator - Nights (4 on 4 off)

About the role

This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving warehouse environment and has solid hands-on experience operating Reach Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

Responsibilities

• Operating Reach Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts and other MHE safely and competently
• Booking in stock, storing stock and managing stock-related issues
• Undertaking stock checks and maintaining accurate records
• Picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer requirements
• Ensuring safe use of all equipment and reporting any faults or breakdowns
• Maintaining strict Health & Safety and hygiene standards in a chilled environment
• Minimising wastage and supporting overall efficiency

Requirements

• A valid (or recently expired) Reach Truck licence and proven forklift/MHE experience in a warehouse or logistics setting
• A flexible, safety-first attitude and strong teamwork
• The shift pattern for this position is 4 on 4 off, 20:00pm to 8:00am

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience using forklifts and MHE in a warehouse setting
• Good communication, numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, chilled environment
• Previous experience of warehouse or packing roles is desirable
• Food hygiene and Health & Safety certificates (desirable)
