Logistic Operative - Days (4 on 4 off)

Safety and Responsibilities

• Safely operate Reach Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts, and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in line with company procedures.
• Receive, book in, store, and replenish stock.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies where required.
• Complete general warehouse duties to support the wider operation.
• Carry out pre-use equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues.
• Maintain excellent standards of health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping within a chilled warehouse environment.
• Help minimize waste and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• A valid (or recently expired) Reach Truck licence.
• Proven experience operating forklifts and other MHE within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
• A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A flexible, reliable approach and willingness to support different areas of the operation when needed.

Shift Pattern

This role works a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, with working hours of 8:00am – 8:00pm.
