Logistic Operator - Bilingual (Chinese/Vietnamese)

Contract position for 1 year located in Cerritos, CA 90703. Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Must be bilingual (Chinese or Vietnamese).

Responsibilities

• Strong customer orientation and negotiating skills
• Background in import operations, global logistics, and Customs Compliance
• Coordinate ocean, air, and trucking freight with carriers and 3rd party logistics providers
• Manage and support fulfillment & distribution activities
• Maintain SOP/Work Instructions and ensure operational best practices align with customer requirements and SOP compliance
• Build relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal team members; resolve freight problems
• Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and support continuous process improvements
• Evaluate logistics processes to improve operational efficiency and support long-term business growth

Requirements

• 1+ years of work experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry (Ocean import) preferred
• Strong analytical skills and ability to learn logistics operations quickly
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Great interpersonal skills with ability to communicate openly and effectively
• Works well under pressure and has a sense of urgency
• Strong work ethic
• Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Pay

$27/hour (W2).
