Lodging Manager - Togwotee Mountain Lodge

About the role

The Lodging Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments, with dotted-line oversight of the Retail Department. This role leads a team of supervisors and team members to ensure guests receive exceptional service and all administrative duties are carried out efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all staff provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Manage a team of staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Provide ongoing customer service coaching and training to staff.
• Hold staff accountable and perform coaching or documentation with HR as a team.
• Communicate with other departments and clients to ensure group needs are met.
• Monitor the comment card program and successfully respond to, resolve, and record guest issues.
• Assist the General Manager in ensuring staff adheres to policies and procedures.
• Support the General Manager with projects or programs related to customer service.
• Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies, and energy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous hospitality management and front desk experience in high-profile locations is preferred.
• Experience working in hospitality environments is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent guest service and leadership skills.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft business applications.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
