Lodging Maintenance Technician - Winter 2026 - 27

Purpose of Position

To perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repairs within Deer Valley Resort properties and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Work with various chemicals including pool chemicals, concrete sealers, and painting products.
• Use ladders, scaffolding, power tools, and equipment; operate company vehicles in a variety of weather conditions.
• Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal, and general ground care.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and various texturing systems.
• Electrical/HVAC: Service and repair pumps, condensers, motors, lighting, and three‑phase electrical panels and circuits.
• Plumbing: Install faucets, seats, drain seals; remove/install toilets and auto flushers; troubleshoot drainage problems, water leaks, and water flow issues.
• Carpentry: Work on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs, and doors.
• Drywall repair and painting interiors and exteriors as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
• CPO certified in maintaining balanced pools and hot‑tub chemicals.
• Mid‑level maintenance skills; service‑oriented and self‑motivated.
• Ability to work well with others and function as a team member.
• Willingness to learn new skills and perform tasks in a timely and safe manner.
• Computer skills highly desirable.
• Basic hand tools required; specialty tools provided.
• Flexibility to work in various Deer Valley Resort property locations and various shifts.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and strenuous work such as snow removal.
• Capability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned.
