About the role

Lodgekeeping Supervisors are responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of lodgekeeping personnel, ensuring cleanliness, safety, sanitation, and appearance of all common and guest areas, assisting with laundry, inspecting equipment, and supporting daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of lodgekeeping personnel
  • Assign Lodgekeepers their duties
  • Inspect work for conformance to standards of cleanliness
  • Ensure and oversee cleanliness, safety, sanitation, and appearance of all common and guest areas
  • Assist with laundering of Food & Beverage, Health and Wellness, and member laundry items
  • Inspect equipment and furnishings and prepare work orders for maintenance
  • Support Lodgekeepers and Lodgekeeping Drivers in cleaning and maintaining lodges, restaurants, recreation areas, Public/Common areas, locker rooms, rest rooms, departmental offices, and Employee areas
  • Assist in recruiting, selecting, and training department personnel as well as providing performance reviews
  • Assist the Lodgekeeping Management team with supervising the daily operations of the Lodgekeeping department sometimes including billing and scheduling
  • May supervise up to twenty (20) Lodgekeepers

Requirements

  • Three (3) months of housekeeping, janitorial, or commercial laundry experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club
  • A valid U.S. or international driver’s license prior to arrival in the United States and a clean driving record

Qualifications

  • Must complete pre-employment background check at employer’s expense
  • Single workweek used to compute wages due
  • Optional seasonal housing is offered on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Wage: $24.27 - $30.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly
  • Overtime is available at $36.41 - $45.00 per hour
  • Lodgekeeping Supervisors are also eligible for additional income via service charge
  • Schedule: 35 hours per week, with additional hours available during peak times, including OT
  • Work schedule can vary and can include morning, evening, weekend, and holiday hours
  • Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday
  • Work hours will vary by location, which can be early morning, morning, afternoon, evening or late evening

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds

Pay

$24.27 - $30.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Overtime is available at $36.41 - $45.00 per hour.

Schedule

35 hours per week, with additional hours available during peak times, including OT. Work schedule can vary and can include morning, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Work hours will vary by location, which can be early morning, morning, afternoon, evening or late evening. Example shifts: 8:00am 3:00pm, 9:00am4:00pm, or 12:00pm7:00pm. Shift hours may vary.

Transportation

  • Transportation between worksites is provided

  • Additional 3rd Party transportations (free and/or self-pay) are available through public services such as Skyline, Streamline, LMLC, UBER/Lyft, and/or Taxi services
