Locums Pediatric Hospitalist Is Wanted in TX

About the role

Call‑only position with 24‑hour shifts, one weekend per month. Ongoing assignment with an average patient load of 4‑8 patients per shift and 1‑2 patients seen on call. Responsibilities include rounding on inpatient and nursery units, providing Nursery Level I care for pediatric inpatients and high‑risk deliveries, attending C‑sections and high‑risk deliveries, and performing intubation, central line placement, and non‑invasive ventilation.

Responsibilities

• Attend C‑sections and high‑risk deliveries
• Provide Nursery Level I care (pediatric inpatient and high‑risk deliveries)
• Perform intubation, central line placement, and non‑invasive ventilation
• Round on inpatient and nursery units
• Ongoing assignment

Requirements / Qualifications

• PICU and Nursery Level II/NICU experience preferred
• Proficiency in intubation, central line placement, and non‑invasive ventilation required
