Locums Pediatric Hospitalist

This role involves providing specialized neonatal and pediatric care with a 24-hour beeper call requiring a 20-30 minute response time. The patient mix is approximately 80% NICU and 20% pediatrics, with NICU patients down to 32 weeks gestation. Key responsibilities include neonatal intubation, airway management, UVC/UAC placement, needle decompression, central line placement, and invasive ventilation management. The role requires certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP, as well as skills in lumbar puncture and EKG interpretation. Qualifications include extensive clinical experience and the ability to perform advanced neonatal procedures. The position offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $125.00 to $150.00, with paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and access to a dedicated healthcare consultant. Responsibilities and time entries are managed via an online portal.
