About the role
This role involves providing comprehensive clinical care in both clinic and hospital settings, including sick and well visits, newborn rounding, and level 1 nursery coverage. The position offers a locums-to-permanent opportunity with flexible assignment details managed through an online portal.
Responsibilities
- Attend C-sections and high‑risk deliveries upon request
- Stabilize patients for transport
- Participate in call rotations, including weeknight and weekend shifts
- Perform circumcisions
- Manage high‑acuity cases
- Provide patient care (sick and well visits, newborn rounding, level 1 nursery)
- Respond to high‑risk OB requests
- Contribute to a collaborative healthcare team
Qualifications
- Current medical licensure
- Skills in stabilizing and managing obstetric emergencies
- Comfortable performing circumcisions
- Ability to manage high‑acuity cases
