Locums Pediatric Hospitalist

This role involves providing comprehensive medical coverage in both clinic and hospital settings, including sick and well visits, newborn rounding, and level 1 nursery care. Responsibilities include attending C-sections and high-risk deliveries at OB requests, stabilizing patients for transport, and managing both routine and urgent cases. The position offers a mix of clinic and hospital duties without split responsibilities, with an average daily census of 15-25 in clinic and 0-1 in hospital. Qualifications include experience with circs and comfort with stabilizing patients. Skills required encompass clinical proficiency, ability to handle high-risk situations, and teamwork. The role features shared call rotation, 24-hour call coverage on weekends, and locums to perm opportunities.
