Locums Pediatric Critical Care Specialist

About the role

This is a weekend coverage position for a Physician specializing in pediatric/ED care, including 24-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rounding with 2-3 residents
• Manage ventilation
• Perform chest tube and line insertions, lumbar punctures, thoracentesis, ICP evaluations, and exchange transfusions
• Respond to in-house codes and provide emergency care

Qualifications and Skills

• BLS and PALS/APLS certifications required
• Ability to handle high-acuity pediatric/emergency cases in a fast-paced environment

The selected candidate will provide patient care for approximately 11 patients per day and work solely on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
