Seeking a Locum Obstetrics/Gynecologist to provide ongoing coverage near Westwood Hills, NC.
About the role
The role involves outpatient practice with approximately 360 deliveries annually.
Responsibilities
- Low-risk pregnancy management
- Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted Amniocentesis
- Routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal, breech, multiple births, and C-section procedures
- Minor gynecological procedures such as IUD insertion, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
- Surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures like tubal ligation and ovarian removal
Requirements
- NC medical license
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications
- Proficiency with Athena EMR system
- Credentialing within 90 days
Schedule
Preferred schedule is a 7 on / 7 off model with call via beeper.
Pay
Compensation includes premium pay for night and weekend call.
