About the role
This is a locum Obstetrics/Gynecologist role requiring an active North Carolina medical license and current experience in obstetric and gynecologic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care and 24-hour call coverage
- Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including c-sections, breech, and multiple births
- Conduct surgical gynecology procedures
- Interpret fetal heart rate (FHR) monitoring
- Perform OB ultrasounds and amniocentesis
- Handle surgical repairs
- Make clinical decisions for c-sections
- Perform circumcisions
- Manage obstetric emergencies
Requirements
- Active North Carolina medical license
- Current experience in obstetric and gynecologic procedures
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Fellowship training preferred
