Locums Obstetrics Gynecologist

About the role

Healthcare professional providing outpatient OB/GYN services in a busy clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient clinic with a 1:2 call ratio and 20-minute response time.
• Conduct 13-18 patient encounters per shift.
• Perform obstetric duties including low/high risk deliveries, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and abruption management.
• Provide office GYN services such as IUD insertion, colposcopy, LEEP, cryosurgery, and cystoscopy.
• Perform diagnostic and minor laparoscopic GYN procedures, including tubal ligation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in OB, GYN, fetal monitoring, ultrasounds, and obstetric emergencies.
• Ability to handle a variety of obstetric and gynecological procedures.
• Strong communication skills for managing patient encounters and emergencies.
