Locums Obstetrics Gynecologist

This role involves providing outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care in a clinic setting, with responsibilities including managing low and high-risk OB patients, performing minor gynecologic procedures (such as IUD insertions, cystoscopies, colposcopies, cryosurgeries, and LEEP), and interpreting fetal heart rate (FHR) and conducting Level I ultrasounds. The provider must be skilled in repairing third and fourth-degree lacerations. Key duties include delivering comprehensive outpatient care, performing procedures, and ensuring patient safety and quality. The role offers a flexible schedule, with shifts typically ranging from 5 to 15 per month, involving about 20 patients per shift, and no on-call duties. Qualifications include experience with obstetrics and gynecology, proficiency in ultrasound screening, and the ability to perform laceration repairs.
