Locums Obstetrics Gynecologist

About the role

This role involves providing high-risk pregnancy and delivery management, including C-sections, breech deliveries, and VBAC procedures. The candidate will handle approximately 20 patients per shift, perform operative and major laparoscopic procedures, and manage multiple births and complicated cases.

Responsibilities

• Respond to hotel pager calls within 30 minutes
• Maintain a 1:5 call ratio with a 50% callback rate
• Participate in patient rounding

Requirements

• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency in high-risk obstetrics and operative procedures
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in obstetrics and gynecology
