Locums Obstetrics Gynecologist

About the role

Hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology position handling vaginal deliveries, C-sections, ectopic cases, and emergency GYN surgeries. The role includes hospital pager call shifts from 8 am to 8 am, managing approximately 60-70 deliveries per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care
• Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and emergency GYN surgeries
• Manage ectopic cases and other emergency situations
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality care

Requirements

• NRP and BLS certifications
• Relevant experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Strong clinical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting

Pay

Compensation ranges from $150.00 to $225.00 hourly, combining base pay with additional earnings such as overtime and call pay. Rate is influenced by experience and position needs.
