Locums Obstetrics Gynecologist

This role involves providing obstetric and gynecological care in a busy clinical setting. Responsibilities include managing low & high risk pregnancies, performing vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and surgical gynecology procedures such as laparoscopic and major operations. Additional duties encompass rounding on assigned patients, admissions, and interpreting OB ultrasounds. The position requires skills in VBAC and complex laceration repair and involves approximately 7+ in-house call shifts per month, with an average of 6.7 patients per shift and around 600 deliveries annually. Qualifications include experience in surgical gynecology, ultrasound interpretation preferred, and the ability to handle both routine and complex obstetric cases. The role offers competitive hourly rates ranging from $150.00 to $225.00, inclusive of potential overtime, call, and holiday pay.
