Locums Neurosurgeon

This role involves providing acute neurosurgery call coverage for adult patients, including spine and cranial surgeries. Responsibilities include managing up to 10 consults per shift, covering 20 patients with APP support, and handling 1-2 admissions and 1 surgery per night. Practice hours are 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with a call schedule of 7 night calls, every other day or a week of nights. Qualified candidates should have acute neurosurgery experience and be capable of spine and cranial procedures. The role utilizes Epic EMR, with support for credentialing, privileging, and providing comprehensive malpractice coverage.
