Locums Gastroenterologist

About the role

Seeking a Gastro Hospitalist for inpatient coverage at two hospitals, with responsibilities including Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy, and esophageal procedures.

The role involves covering approximately 5 patients per shift during Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a minimum of 14 shifts per month. The position offers 8 hours guaranteed per day, potential outpatient procedures, and ongoing coverage opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Patient management
• Performing endoscopic procedures (Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy, esophageal procedures)
• Collaborating with healthcare teams

Requirements

• Board certification in Gastroenterology
• Active medical license
• Prior experience in hospitalist settings

Pay

Compensation ranges from $335 to $425 per hour.
