We are seeking a Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing hospital role near North York, PA. PA licensure is required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care across diverse procedures, including trauma, neuro, cardiac, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and more.
- Perform epidurals without a physician present.
- Utilize skills in general endotracheal anesthesia (GETA), monitored anesthesia care (MAC), regional, spinal, and ultrasound-guided techniques.
- Note: CRNAs cannot perform blocks.
- Provide coverage for all ages and patient types, adhering to a maximum 1:3 or 1:4 supervision model.
Schedule
- Full-time shifts, including weekends.
- Varied hours (e.g., 0615-1645, 0630-1630, 0700-1700).
- 4-5 ten-hour shifts per week; no overtime.
Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with an active PA license.
- ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Preferably 2+ years of experience.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system.
