About the role
We are seeking a qualified physician to provide locum tenens coverage in an inpatient hospital setting, performing approximately 200 adult surgical cases per month. Procedures include epidurals, general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, and podiatry.
Responsibilities
- Manage epidurals and spinals, including in obese patients
- Share call on a 1:5 rotation, including one night per week and every 5th weekend
- Respond to calls from home within a 20-minute timeframe
Requirements
- Proficiency in labor epidurals and spinals in obese patients
Skills
- Strong procedural expertise
