Locums CRNA

We are seeking a Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in North Carolina. Candidates must hold an active NC license or an IMLC to facilitate faster licensing.

About the role

This position involves a mix of general anesthesia and a high OB census. The environment is highly autonomous, including solo call responsibilities. You will work within a care-team model featuring a 1:3 MD to CRNA ratio, alongside 1 MD and 3 CRNAs.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 150 cases per month
• Support 200 annual deliveries
• Provide solo call coverage without supervision
• Handle a callback rate exceeding 50% during primary call

Requirements

• Extensive OB experience
• Regional anesthesia certification (preferred)
• Proficiency demonstrated through case logs in regional and OB cases

Schedule

• Shifts vary between 8, 10, or 12 hours
• Pager call coverage from 5pm to 7am on weekdays
• Pager call coverage from 7am to 7am on weekends
• CRNAs take turns on call
