Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Urology job in Madison, WI, offering a competitive daily rate of $2800–$3000. This 13-week assignment begins on 09-04-26 and includes both scheduled shifts and on-call requirements.

Schedule and Coverage

• Shift Coverage: Scheduled + On Call required
• Shift Schedule: Standard 4, 24-Hour shifts from 12:00 to 07:00

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage urological disorders such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate issues.
• Perform surgical interventions including cystoscopies, nephrectomies, and prostatectomies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide consultation services to other medical team members regarding critically ill patients.
• Educate patients about conditions, treatment options, and post-care management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a residency training program in urology accredited by the ACGME or AOA.
• Board certification in urology by the ABU or AOBS.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Wisconsin.
• At least one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting (preferred).

• Strong expertise in performing surgical and non-surgical urological procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex medical information to patients.
• Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex urological conditions.
