Pay
$250/hour - $280/hour
Schedule
- 13-week assignment starting 09-01-26
- Scheduled shifts with no call
- Standard 5-day workweek, 8-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
About the Facility
Out-patient clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiac care to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans for cardiovascular conditions.
- Perform cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures (depending on subspecialty).
- Educate and counsel patients on heart disease prevention, risk factors, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (nurses, surgeons, specialists) to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in cardiology through continuing education.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the ACGME or AOA.
- Fellowship training in cardiology (preferred depending on the position).
- Board certification in cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the AOA.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Wisconsin.
- At least one year of experience providing cardiac care in a clinical setting (preferred).

- In-depth knowledge of cardiology principles and practices, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of heart disease.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical proficiency in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures (if applicable).
- Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
